A: John is starting to drive me up the wall with all of his complaining.

B: I think he’s having trouble coming to grips with his demotion.

A: 존이 늘어놓는 불평 때문에 점점 화가 나.

B: 내 생각에 존은 자신이 좌천된 현실을 받아들이지 못하는 것 같아.

 

drive (someone) up the wall: 누군가를 화나게 하거나 이성을 잃게 만든다는 뜻이다. come to grips (with): 마주하기힘든 사람, 대상 등에 대처하기 시작한다는 뜻.
