B: Yeah, I’ve gotta find a way to level the playing field.

A: 존과의 일이 점점 감당할 수 없는 지경이 되고 있어. 넌 힘든 싸움을 하고 있어.

B: 그래, 공평한 경쟁의 장을 만드는 방법을 찾아야겠어.

get out of hand: 이 표현은 더 이상 통제하기 힘든 사람이나 상황을 뜻한다. fight an uphill battle: 이 표현은 전투에 비유한 것으로, 다른 사람의 반대와 같은 장애물 때문에 상황이 어려워졌다는 뜻이다. level the playing field: 스포츠에서 “level playing field” 란 양쪽이 동등한 어드밴티지와 기회를 가진다는 뜻이다.
